I was born and raised in Hội An – a peaceful town nestled by the Thu Bồn River, known for its rich history and vibrant craft traditions. Growing up here, surrounded by handmade lanterns, weavings, and the quiet rhythm of artisan life, I naturally fell in love with creating things by hand.

As a child, I loved making small, delicate gifts for my friends. Their smiles gave me joy and planted the first seeds of what would one day become Macrya. That passion stayed with me, even during the years I worked in a stable office job. But deep down, I longed for something more — something that felt real, meaningful, and connected to my roots.

One day, I decided to listen to that inner voice. I left the office behind and returned to my childhood love: crafting by hand. And so, Macrya was born — not just as a brand, but as a way of life, shaped by the culture of Hội An and a desire to bring handmade beauty back into the world.

At Macrya, every piece is made slowly and intentionally. We use eco-friendly materials, work in small batches, and pour care into every knot and detail. We believe that handmade items carry a warmth that machines never could — because they hold the story of the hands that made them.
